Frequently asked questions.

1. What file formats do you accept for 3D printing quotes?

We primarily accept STL, OBJ, and STEP files. These are the standard formats for 3D models and ensure dimensional accuracy for our printers.

2. My model file is large (over 100MB). Can I still send it?

Yes. Our secure quote form (powered by Jotform) is set up to handle large files. If you run into issues, please contact us for a direct file-sharing link.

3. I only have a 2D sketch/idea. Can you still help?

Absolutely. Our CAD Design & Modeling service is specifically for transforming sketches, concepts, or 2D blueprints into a production-ready 3D file.

4. Do you offer 3D scanning and Replication Service?

Yes, we provide high-resolution 3D scanning, replication and reverse engineering services to create detailed CAD models from physical parts, supporting replication and development needs.

5. What is Design for Manufacturing (DFM)?

DFM is our consultation process where we proactively optimize your design to reduce material costs, improve structural integrity, and ensure the part is perfectly printable before we hit the start button.

6. What are the main differences between FDM and Resin printing?

FDM is best for strong, functional, and cost-effective prototypes and end-use parts by melting a solid filament to print your product. Resin (SLA/DLP) is used for high-detail visual models and parts requiring an exceptionally smooth surface finish though hardening of liquid resin.

7. Do you offer printing in metal or ceramic materials?

Currently, we specialize in high-performance polymers (e.g., Nylon, ABS, PETG) and engineering-grade resins. This allows us to maintain strict quality and fast turnaround times for the most common industrial applications.

8. What is your maximum print size?

Our largest FDM machine can accommodate parts up to 400 x 400 x 400 mm. For larger components, we can section the part and assemble it using our Finishing & Assembly service.

9. How long does it take to get a quote?

We strive to provide initial quotes within 24-48 hours of receiving your complete file submission. More complex projects requiring DFM consultation may take slightly longer.

10. What types of finishing options do you offer?

Our services include support removal, sanding, vapor smoothing (for FDM parts), priming/painting, and light assembly to deliver a truly market-ready product.

11. How can I avail the veteran/military supporter discount?

We offer a discount to veterans and active military personnel. Please use our specialized Newsletter Sign-up Form by Clicking Here to submit your verification documents. Once approved, you will receive an exclusive discount code via email.

12. Do you offer 3D printer repairs?

Yes. We provide professional diagnostic and repair services, specifically specializing in the Bambu Lab ecosystem (X1, P1, and A1 series). Because these machines use proprietary hardware and advanced sensors, they require specialized expertise. Whether you're dealing with a mechanical toolhead failure, a complex AMS (Automatic Material System) jam, or a motherboard issue, we have the specific parts and diagnostic knowledge to get your machine back to peak performance.

13. Where is the repair service be done?

All diagnostics and repairs are performed at our Bristol facility. To ensure a high-quality fix, we utilize a full workbench of precision tools and perform mandatory 24-hour stress tests that are only possible in-shop. You can coordinate a specific drop-off time with Mike or utilize our standard Saturday morning window (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM) for convenient equipment delivery.
